Like any intimate and creative collaboration/partnership, there are some that just feel cosmically aligned from start to finish and Chanelle + Ben’s wedding was one those weddings for me!
Detail oriented + seriously stylish, Chanelle may have been the first bride to send me a full-on mood board complete with a list of art references (Dan Flavin, Solange) for the vibe of her day and a vendor list that was true #WEDDINGGOALZ. First off, lets talk PAPER. Pictured above are the impeccably designed dinner menu (THE FEAST) alongside the program that utilized a scan of a telegram Chanelle’s father sent while traveling. All of the colors remained consistent throughout the celebration and were designed by the super talented Yelena Avanesova.
Next, my favorite ever, FLORALS.
It’s no secret that Fox Fodder Farm are one of the most talented floral studios in NYC, but this celebration still takes the cake for me in terms of simple, understated and fun sophistication.
Also, the integration of the tropical fruit with the Dan Flavin inspired neons? Perfect.
& speaking of cake...
Baking genius Nine Cakes created this insane masterpiece which I can only humbly describe as FREAKING AMAZING. I can also attest to the fact that literally no other wedding cake has ever harbored as much attention as this beauty!
